Galina runs our Tax Litigation Practice and handles tax litigation in courts of arbitration.

She has represented FBK’s corporate clients before tax authorities and in courts in disputes to invalidate decisions of tax authorities taken during field and cameral tax inspections. Her clients include:
•  Gazprom before Russia’s Supreme Court of Arbitration on invalidating the letter from the Ministry of Taxes and Levies dated 17 February 2004 No. 04-2-06/127 “On the taxation of compensation payments on business travel expenditures”

• ALROSA
• A subsidiary of Evraz Group
• Nestle and its subsidiaries
• International Grain Company and its subsidiaries

Galina has gained vast experience in civil and insolvency (bankruptcy) cases in court.

She also has extensive experience in participating in a variety of projects as an expert and manager:
• Tax advice
• Legal support in audits
• Overall legal support for everyday business operations
• Financial and corporate consulting, including due diligence
• Development, legal implementation and control over business project realization
• Investing in large construction projects, in particular, investment contracts on real estate construction with the Moscow Government

Galina also delivers special training programs and seminars (including on insurance law, leasing transaction taxation) at the Moscow State Academy of Law, the Academy of National Economy under the Russian Government and the Russian Academy of the Civil Service under the Russian President. She has published articles in professional journals such as Financial and Accounting Consultations, Russian Tax Courier and Your Tax Lawyer.
