Cases:

• >  We assisted in settling a dispute between FBK’s client, a legal entity (the buyer), and a company importing exclusive cars to Russia (the seller). In spite of rather ambiguous trial prospects (inapplicability of the Consumer Rights Protection Law, evidential complexity and the defendant’s intricate corporate structure), FBK’s lawyers managed to convince the defendant that amicable settlement was far more reasonable than litigation with unpredictable consequences.
• >  We reached an amicable settlement for one of our clients who had been charged with an alleged breach of antimonopoly legislation. During the case examination by Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Agency, FBK’s lawyers managed to prove explicitly the absence of crime in the acts of the arranger and participants in a public tender.
• >  FBK succeeded in a dispute with the tax authorities, who refused to grant legitimate allowances to foreign participants on their property contribution to their Russian subsidiary’s charter capital.
